THE CONFERENCE
Within the business program, the “Nanotechnologies in Industry”, 11th International Conference will take place. Organized by the Academy of Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan State Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev, Kazan State University named after Ulyanov-Lenin, Kazan State Technological University named after S.M. Kirov; leading scientists and specialists of state body and industrial enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan will also participate in the conference.


RESULTS of the Ist INTERNATIONAL SPECIALIZED EXHIBITION “NANOTECHNOLOGIES. KAZAN-2009” AND Xth INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH/PRACTICE CONFERENCE “NANOTECHNOLOGIES IN INDUSTRY”
64 companies took part in the Ist international specialized exhibition “Nanotechnologies. Kazan-2009”. The exhibition space was 512 sqm.
Among participants were enterprises and companies from cities, such as Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Tomsk, Voronezh, Mendeleevsk, Sarov, Kursk, Belgorod, Udmurtiya, Naberezhnye Chelny, Moscow representative branch of a Japanese company.
The exhibition was visited by about 3,000 people from 25 cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan and from 27 Russian cities, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Perm, Samara, Tula, Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl; such districts, as Vladimirskiy, Kirovskiy, Leningradskiy, Moscovskiy, Nizhegorodskiy, Orenburgskiy, Samarskiy, Tomskiy, Ulyanovskiy, Permskiy Krai; such republics as Bashkortostan, Chuvashiya, Udmurtiya. Representatives from Ukraine and the Czech Republic visited the exhibition.
316 people participated in the conference, including representatives of institutions of higher education from Kazan, Moscow, Samara, Izhevsk, Ufa, Ukraine; representatives of petrochemical, chemical, aerospace and automotive enterprises; representatives of state institutions, research institutions under the Russian Academy of Science and the Academy of Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Following up the conference, a round table discussion chaired by B.P. Pavlov, the first vice prime-minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, was organized. During the discussion the results of the nanoforum were discussed and recommendations were worked out.
